Özet (EN)

The research has been conducted with the aim of investigate resilience and stress coping styles of nurses working in COVID-19 units. The research that has been planned in design of descriptive, cross-sectional, and correlational, has been carried out with 166 nurses at a training and research hospital in Bursa on the dates between 01.09.2021-01.04.2022. The Research data, introductory information form that includes sociodemographic and occupational knowledge, have been collected by using Resilience Scale and Stress Coping Styles Scale. In the evaluation of data, descriptive statistics have been utilized such as frequency, percentage, arithmetic average, standard deviation, minimum, maximum. In the analysis of data, the test of Kolmogorov-Smirnov, one of the normality distribution tests, has been used and parametric tests have been utilized because normality assumptions were provided at the end of the analysis. In the comparison of 2 independent group's average, independent sample t test, in the comparison of more than 2 independent group, One-way ANOVA test result has been used. The age average of nurses that participate in research is 29,13+6,65 and it has been determined that %68,7 of them are woman, %62 of them are single, %69,9 of them have undergraduate education level, their professional experience is %6,60+6,74 on average, %69,3 of them infected by COVID-19. It has been founded that average score of resilience scale of nurses is 145.23+14.56; general average score of stress coping styles scale is 75.54+8.87, self-confident approach average score from the sub-dimensions of the scale is 21.19+5.41, desperate approach average score is 17.22+4.18, submissive approach average score is 11.93+2.76, optimistic approach average score is 13.92+2.95, socially seeking for support average score is 11.28+2.00. There is a positively weak meaningful correlation between resilience scale score and the stress coping styles scale score.
