Examination of measures and practices taken at Batman Regional State Hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic process

The corona virus is thought to have emerged in the animal market of Wuhan, China on December 31, 2019. In the statement of the World Health Organization China country office, it was stated that cases of pneumonia of unknown cause have emerged and a new corona virus has been detected that has not been seen in humans before. While this disease was initially expressed as 2019 ncov, it was later named Covid-19. It has spread all over the world about 3 months after its emergence in China. The World Health Organization declared this epidemic as a Covid-19 epidemic on March 12, 2020. This epidemic; continues to pose a risk in the world in terms of mental, social and physical aspects. According to the data of the World Health Organization since March 12, 2020, which was declared a pandemic, 170 million 217 thousand 299 cases of Covid- 19 have been detected and it has been stated that 3 million 539 thousand 727 died. The first covid19 case was detected in Turkey on March 11, 2020, and in the period from that date to May 29, 2021, 53 million 478 thousand 278 cases were detected, while 47 thousand 134 of them died. The aim of this study is to investigate whether the Batman Regional State Hospital complies with the corona virus measures. In this direction, studies were conducted based on the Ministry of Health's study guide in hospitals. In addition, a comparison was made with a hospital in China to reveal the strengths and weaknesses of the corona virus measures taken at Batman Regional State Hospital.
