Problems and suggestions in distance education during the Covid-19 pandemic (Hendek sample)

In today's global world, the rapid development of technology and dynamic processes have also caused the traditional education system to change. Especially with the Covid-19 pandemic process that emerged in 2020, the education system all over the world had to change. As a result of the changes in educational paradigms, the differences in educational environments, teaching approaches, course materials, learning methods and techniques have caused the traditional education system to be replaced by the distance education system. Distance education is the implementation of education and training activities without physical interaction by using the opportunities and technological tools offered to people by information and communication technologies. However, distance education has some problems and limitations in terms of administrators, teachers, parents and students. In this respect, it is important to eliminate the problems faced by teachers, administrators, parents and students who work in the education sector or benefit from distance education in order to raise educated individuals and ensure the continuity of education. It is important to identify the problems these stakeholders experience while communicating with each other throughout the process, and the limitations they feel on these issues, in terms of evaluating and improving educational activities. In the research, it is aimed to determine the problems faced by teachers, administrators, parents and students in the distance education process and to find solution methods for these problems. As a result of the research conducted using document analysis, one of the qualitative analysis methods as a result of the interviews, the most emphasized issues by the participants were the inability to support the student, the lack of student-teacher-friend interaction, the inability to socialize, the deficiencies in technology and internet infrastructure, the inability to follow the students, the problems in the EBA connection, the need for guidance support, there are difficulties in course presentation and transfer of knowledge, and inequality of opportunity.
