Abstract (EN)

Aim: The literature review can be similar to when traveling with the pleasures of what to do with the use of masks in a wide-ranging indoor area. For this purpose; Covid 19 is the direction of interventions for motoric performances in some of the masks used in gyms during the transition to normal life. Material and Method: 8 male and 4 female participants were included in the study. Masked and unmasked VO2max tests were performed on the participants. BLa measurements were made after masked and unmasked aerobic exercises. Perceived difficulty was measured with the Borg scale. Resistance exercises were performed with and without masks. After these exercises, BLa measurements were made. Perceived difficulty was measured with the OMNI-RES Results: Statistically significant VO2max measurement values of the participants with and without masks were found (p=0.008). Statistically significant BLa values were found after aerobic exercise with and without mask (p=0.015). Statistical significance was found in Bla values after resistance exercise with and without mask (p=0.09). Statistically significant Borg scores were found after aerobic exercise with and without masks (p=0.02). Statistically significant OMNI-RES values were found after masked and unmasked resistance exercises (p=0.089). Conclusion: Our findings show us that mask use with exercise is not safe. In particular, the decrease in VO2max values and poor BLa values measured after aerobic and resistance exercises will adversely affect exercise performance. In addition, the poor level of difficulty of the measured exercise is an indication of the negative responses caused by the use of masks during exercise. Key Words: Covid-19, FFP1 type masked exercise, Pandemic, Covid-19 and exercise
