Change of working and space through coworking areas: An evaluation specific to Turkey

Collaborative working and its coworking spaces are essential structures in expressing the reflections of production and consumption paradigms, restructured by technological developments, on the working paradigms. It is observed that production, consumption, and working phenomena have undergone characteristic transformations in the sharing-cooperation economy, which rises with the questioning of the concept of property and has different dynamics from the traditional economy. Capturing the opportunities of this transformation and taking precautions regarding threats will only be possible with a detailed analysis. In this study, changes related to production, consumption, and working phenomena will be examined in the axis of industrial revolutions as representing technological developments. In the research phase, a detailed analysis of the paradigms and coworking areas of the collaborative, collaborative work form will be carried out using the qualitative analysis method. Collaborative, collaborative work is one of the new autonomous forms of work. At the same time, it provides a competitive advantage as a cooperation strategy nurtured by the approach of "strength comes from unity." On the other hand, coworking areas emerge as collaborative joint structurings that enable the unity of many different work forms through space sharing. In coworking areas, it is seen that primarily self-employed and employers of different scales are concentrated. Coworking areas are collaborative and sharing environments created with community structuring. Coworking areas offer a structure where productivity, creativity, networking opportunities increase, work, information, resources increase, costs, and administrative workload decrease. In addition, these areas are places where the work is consumed with the additional services based on the satisfaction of the target audience, such as socialization, entertainment, and learning centers and the spacing effect it creates.
