The role of apprenticeship trainings to reintegrate juveniles pushed to crime into society: A sample of Ankara Juvenile Detention Centers

This study aims to reveal the results of apprenticeship trainings in juvenile detention centers in cases where juveniles pushed to crime and convicted are sheltered as punishment. In juvenile detention centers, many studies are performed to reintegrate children into society. There aren't any studies, however, about the results of apprenticeship training applied in juvenile detention centers. Thus, this study presents to what degree the convicted children have rehabilitated and to what extent the apprenticeship helps socialization and stops recidivism following release.
