Abstract (EN)
This study explores the impact of the Israeli policy of interference in the Palestinian curricula in the city of al-Quds on Palestinian educational objectives. The focus was on discussing the issue of monitoring and distorting the Palestinian School textbooks in the city of al-Quds. The policy of this interference and its impact on Palestinian identity and undermining contextual education were analyzed. This policy hurts students' ability to think critically and interact effectively with the challenges of Palestinian reality. Moreover, ignoring some international standards for educational objectives and violating them in the distorted Palestinian textbooks is a reason for the need to protect students from an incomplete educational experience that does not conform to the goals aimed at promoting the concepts of human rights and equality among nations. This study aims to shed light on the need to protect Palestinian educational objectives and the international standards they include as a fundamental right in light of the significant challenges facing the Palestinian people, which contributes to providing education that aims to educate Palestinian students about the difficulties of their reality and provides a safe environment that respects and enhances the rights of the Palestinian people. In addition, it also contributes to providing an education that discusses the challenges of the student society related to the past and present, and motivates them to think about solutions that improve their reality and the future of their nation.
