The determination of some important quality characteristics of soybean grown in farmer condotions in Çukurova region

In this research such as NOVA, A.3935 and S.4240soybean varieties which are widely grown in this region were used as materials.At the harvesting time, two kilos soybean samples were taken from the eachproducts, belonging to NOVA, A.3935 and S.4240 soybean varieties which were takenafter the harvest by going to 74 different region where soybean production are widelymade these samples were taken to laboratories to make measurement and analysis andrates belonging to important quality features such as 1000 seed weight, humidity rate,broken seed rate, purity rate, oil rate were designated.It is fixed that there are important differences between variotions and regions interms of investigated features. In calculations which were made according to farmerknowledge. It is seem that the highest average seed yield is in S.4240 (367.8 kg/da) kind,second is in A.3935 (354.4 kg/da) kind and the lowest is in the NOVA (353.3 kg/da)kind.KeyWords: Soybean, Nova, A.3935, S.4240, Quality of CharacteristicsII
