In the research, Pioneer 31G98 corn cultivar were grown to determine the effectsof five different nitrogen rates (0, 9, 18, 27 and 36 kg N/da) and five plant spaces (70x10,70x14, 70x18, 70x22 and 70x26 cm) on the yield, yield components and nitrogen uptake anduse efficiency.According to results of the experiment, male and female tasseling periot were decreasedby increasing of row spacings and nitrogen doses. On the other hand, plant height, first earheight, stem diamenter, ear diamenter, ear length, kernel number per ear, single ear weight,1000 seed weight, grain yield and nitrogen rates of the seed increased by increasing of rowspacings and nitrogen doses. Tasseling and harvesting period nitrogen amount of remove byplant, and nitrogen utilization efficiency were changeable in the different row spacing andnitrogen doses. Nitrogen use efficiency, uptake nitrogen of tasseling and harvesting periodchangeable in the different row spacing, but decreased by increasing of nitrogen doses.In this research, it was determined as that the most plant spaces were 18 cm and themost nitrogen dose was also 27 kg/da in the Pioneer 31G98 cultuvar.Key Words: Corn, Nitrogen Dose, Plant Spaces, Nitrogen Use Efficient, UtilizedNitrogen Efficiency
