Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out in order to determine the most suitable nitrogen and zinc fertilizer doses at sorghum-sudangrass hybrids in the Çukurova Region, during 2001-2002 at Çukurova Agricultural Research Station. This study was used grazer cultivar of Sorghum-Sudangrass hybrids, and as pure fertilizer doses 0, 7, 14, 18, 24 kg/da nitrogen and 0, 0.5, 1.0 kg/da zinc. As a result of this research,, while the highest fresh yield was obtained with 3349.97 kg/da value from 1. cutting and N3-Zni treatment, the lowest fresh yield was obtained with 1665.03 kg/da value from 2.cutting and No-Zno treatment. While the highest dry matter yield was obtained with 860.45 kg/da value from 1.cutting and N3- Zni treatment, the lowest dry matter yield was obtained with 455.22 kg/da value from 2.cutting and No-Zno treatment. The effect of nitrogen and zinc treatments on the fresh and dry matter yield were found to be significant While the highest crude protein rate was obtained with %7.19 value from 1. cutting and N3-Zno treatment, the lowest crude protein rate was obtained with %5.50 value from 2.cutting and No-Zn2 treatment. While the ADF rate was obtained with %48.64 value from 2.cutting and Ni-Zn2 treatment, the lowest ADF rate was obtained with %40.96 value from 1. cutting and No-Zni treatment. As zinc treatment increased to mature, low protein rate and high ADF rate have been caused. Nitrogen fertilizer treatment increased nitrogen and potassium content in the leaf. Zinc fertilizer treatment increased especially, zinc to be positive effect on all of the animals and iron content in the leaf.Key words: Sorghum-Sudangrass Hybrids, Nitrogen, Zinc
