Prof. Dr. Abdulhabip ÖZELThis Study was contucted to determine sunflowers cultivars grown inÇukurova region in University of Çukurova, in Department of farm structures andIrrigation experimental area. The experiment was carriedout as randomized completeblock design with three replication. İn this study ten sunflowers cultivars was used toassign plant height, node number, head diameter, seed number per head, 1000 seedweight, seed yield, percentage of crude oil and crude oil yield.The results of the experiment showed that there were significantlydifferences between sunflower varietes according to the awarage of oil yield.Thehighest oil yield was obtained from Koral variety (59.34 kg/da) and followingvariety was Sanbro (58.57 kg/da ). The lowest oil yield was obtained from İseravariety (49.59 kg/da). The Sanbro variety showed the highest seed yield (174.6 kg/da) and AS 6310 (173.2 kg/da) variety followed with as second variety.
