Abstract (EN)

In this study, some ecological properties of two citrus species, Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck var.Valencia (Valencia orange) ve Citrus reticulata Blanco (Fremont mandarin), which were grown in 2 different areas in the farm of the Faculty of Agriculture ve Subtropic Fruits Research ve Application Center in Çukurova University. Samples were collected ve compared from leaves, litter ve soil in 6 month intervals. The samples of leaves, litter and soil was air dried, plant samples were grinded by plant grinder and soil samples were cleaned up from foreign materials, sieved and stored in plastic bags. Except the times of non fertilizers used the carbon contents are as followed leaf>litter>soil ve had significant differences in between these values. (P < 0,05). Nitrogen contents differ for each soil from other (P < 0,05). In each period the C/N ratio was found significantly different in the orange that grows int the farm than the mandarin in the farm ve the orange in Subtropic (P < 0,05).. Carbon ve nitrogen mineralizations ve in situ soil respiration, copper, zinc, iron ve manganese concentrations of soils were determined It was determined that the metal concentrations of the soil increased in one year ve caused significant differences (P < 0,05).. In each tree the CO2 swing is not the same that could be effected by many other factors. It can be presumed that the differences in the nitrogen mineralization values are related to the use of fertilizers. Soil respiration was affected by many factors such as agricultural practices ve seasonal changes. It was determined that the metal concentrations of the soil increased in one year ve caused significant differences (P < 0,05).
