Content analysis and social network analysis study for Presidential National Library twitter account data

As in every field, the fact that network structures become more complex day by day in the field of information science and librarianship increases the need for the analysis of these structures. Within the scope of this study, which was carried out in order to develop suggestions on the points that should be considered when planning social media management for libraries, content analysis and social network analysis were carried out through the interaction name "@cb_kutuphane", which is the official Twitter account of the Presidential National Library (CMK). While conducting content analysis in the study, a Twitter account was opened because an existing Twitter account was required to retrieve retrospective data from Twitter. A developer account request was made through the account opened, and an application was made with the scope and details of the study. In this way, 1632 tweets shared via @cb_kutuphane account were captured as study data for the descriptive evaluations and content analysis step to be made in the study. In the second stage, the data are the CMK official Twitter account interactions obtained with the help of the NodeXL program on Twitter. "@cb_kutuphane" address interactions, which are 19363 in total, are limited to six months, namely June, July, August, September, October and November of 2022. It has been determined that the CMK official Twitter account examined in the study is managed professionally and in accordance with a certain policy. It has been seen that CMK's social media accounts, which have open and accessible profiles that increase the number of interactions with their followers day by day, can be an example for other libraries, with their consistent and consistent sharing of the services offered.
