Investigation of the relations between group D and Ar magazine in Turkish painting in The Republican era

In the development of Turkish Painting Art in the Republican Period, the fact that there is a phenomenon that should be considered as individuals is the existence of groups.After the establishment of the Association of Independent Painters and Sculptors, members of the group in 1932, Nurullah Berk and Elif Naci congress decision is removed from the group. When the two artists, sculptor Zühtü Müridoğlu and Zeki Faik İzer were gathered in his house in Cihangir, their aim was to establish the D Group playing an active role in the process of Turkish Painting. D Group members rejected Impressionist techniques and aimed to create a sound structure and structure inspired by cubist and constructivist approaches. They started to attract the attention of the society and other artists with the exhibitions that they opened by producing many works. Because they are the fourth group established in Turkish Painting, the 4th letter of the alphabet chooses the letter, D as their name. Group D is the most effective and successful group in Turkish painting. Although she was exposed to positive and negative criticisms, she brought new insights into Turkish painting. Republican Period Another activity in the name of Art is Ar Magazine which started to be published in Istanbul in 1937. The magazine, which contains articles and images on Plastic Arts, Phonetic Arts and Archeology, is published 24 times monthly. Founders of Group D consisting of painters formed in critical environments thanks to the Republic of Turkey in the year of the publication where R Magazine pictures, drew attention to the dynamics that occur in sculpture and literature.
