The religion politics of Republican People's Party and their perspectives of its electoral base (Istanbul case)

Political parties which is the catalyzator of modern democracy is a tools of system of representative democracy that tranports social request to the parliament. Repuplican People's Party (CHP) which is a political organisation with the same age with Turkish Republic itselfs, is one of the fundamental main pillars of Turkish political lifes. CHP has a quite differnt qualities in terms of organizational form and political targets in establishment. In my study ı will use descriptive method and questionnary study.The religion-state relations are one of the controversial fields of Turkish politics. In conclusion, in my study, I will show the religion and laicism approch of the Republican People's Party.
