Abstract (EN)
In this study, two important areas of visual arts, the caricature and illustration art, were compared. Firstly, the definitions of both art, characteristics, relationships with art, historical development in Turkey and in the world, areas were examined. Then structural and semantic features were compared with descriptive analysis. Finally, the usage areas were compared and the points where they were separated and simulated were tried to be determined. Key Words: Caricature, Illustration, visual art usage areas
