Cürcâni's book called er-Risâletü'l-Kübrâ Fi'l-Mantık

Our thesis named er-Risâletü'l-Kübrâ Fi'l-Mantık by Seyyid Şerif Cürcâni, who is one of the most important intellectual of XIV. centuryis a work written about the science of logic.Our thesis consist of introduction and tree parts. In the introduction part, the infomation about the method, aim importance and the topic of the thesis is given.In the first part of the thesis, we aim to give information about the work, personalty of science, political situation and science of the term and life of Seyyid Şerif, who had been famous for his study on all sciences studied in İslam geography in his age.We evaluate Cürcani's opinions of logic acording to the work er-Risâletü'l-Kübrâ Fi'l-Mantık in the second part. While doing this, in necessary paints we mention the opinions of philosophicals such as Aristotales, Farabi, İbn Sina, Gazali and Cürcâni's contemporary.In the third part of the thesis, we translate the work and in necessary points we try to develop it so that the translation can be understued beter.In the appendix we also add the original manuscript text considering that it will be necessary and Arabian version of the study which we form modelling three copies.Keyword: Seyyid Şerif Cürcâni, Logic, Premise, Syllogism
