Abstract (EN)
Numerical techniques in solving electromagnetics problems are the most common methods which are used during the last decades, especially with the growing inventions of fast speed computers and powerful softwares. In this thesis, it is attempted to approach a fast efficient algorithm for solving the famous Hallen and Pocklington integral equations, regarding the current distribution on a finite-length linear thin wire antenna. In order to approach this aim, Method of Moments (MOM) which is a powerful numerical technique to solve integral equations and Fast Multipole Method (FMM) which is a mathematical technique to accelerate iterative solutions is to be combined. Afterward, this technique will be applied on Hallen and Pocklington’s integral equations (HE and PE) for a transmitting thin wire antenna which is energized by delta-function generator (DFG) in order to find current distribution along the antenna. In the thesis, there would be a discussion part about solvability and non-solvability of HE and PE equations and comparison between the results using this technique and the ones which have been extracted by applying the other methods mentioned in different books for solving HE and PE equations in frequency domain.
