Özet (EN)

Dagestan is the place where had been lived liberation struggle in the most effectively throughout the history, it is an autonomous republic based on Russian Federation in the North Caucasus. Derbent passage is one of the 12 most appropriate gateway to overcome the Caucasus Mountains, is situated in Dagestan. Due to this situation and because of Dagestan's geographical position, it has witnessed many wars and invasion movements throughout the history.Yet the struggle for dominances had been experienced on this region between the great powers.In this study, the historical development of Dagestan region and the arrival ways of Dagestani ulema to the Ottoman Empire have been examined, it is described the regions has been settled and aids has been done to ulama in the regions. In this context, Autonomous Republic of Dagestan where located in the North Caucasus today constitute the limits of the work .This study aims to examine after the Russian invasion the Caucasus, during the migration that begins from Dagestan, Dagestan's ulema who took refuge in the Ottoman Empire.
