Abstract (EN)

Modeling and Analysis of The Wave Energy Converting Systems in case of Using Piezoelectric Materials for Harvesting Energy Wave energy conversion system is developed to harvest energy (gain electrical power) from wave energy, which is one of the renewable energy sources, by using piezoelectric materials. Developed system is analyzed numerically. The wave energy transition systems are designed to work on specified wave length and amplitude in accordance with constructed on ocean and sea properties. The investigations about the small scale wave using showed that the vibrations of wave allowed to use piezoelectric material. Some of force impressions on the piezoelectric material so the internal structure removes and product voltage. This voltage is passed the possible converter circuit and get the energy. The purpose of this thesis is to calculate the electrical power which is made by the effect of waves at different parameters on energy generation system designed by using piezoelectric materials by using numerical analysis. Computational Fluid Dynamics Fluent software package in which it is performed with ANSYS Fluent module examination by numerical methods for time-dependent modeling of wave pressure and forces affecting variable values on the system. ANSYS Transient Structural module is used to calculate the power produced by the piezoelectric materials with the effect that the result of pressure occurring strain on the plate piezoelectric materials placed. Electric power generated by the power is calculated from the wave equation used to Root Mean Square (RMS) value has been reached . Amplitudes were less than 1.4 W RMS values for waves under 2 m. Underwater position change of the wave generator, wave height, water depth, wave period and cause the changes in amount of power produced.
