Abstract (EN)
The aim of the study on the determination of the formation conditions of the Danisment Diaspore deposit (Milas-Mugla) by fluid inclusion studies is to interpret the origin helping by the mineralogical and geochemical features of the bauxite deposits in the study area. In this context; Relating with regional lithology of the the bauxite formation conditions, and exploring of the new bouxite deposits in the light of the created model. Seven bauxite samples, and one wall rock sample were taken from Milas -Kozağaç-Çamlıktepe location, and XRF-ICP-MS (X-Ray Fluorescence and Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometer), Raman Spectrography analysis were carried out to determine the main - trace element content, and to determine mineralogical features, respectively. Pb isotope analyzes were performed with in 8 samples, and 223 fluid inclusion analyzes in primary and secondary inclusions in diaspore samples. Fluid inclusion results show that the bauxite formation temperature range is between 191 and 350 °C. Raman Spectrometry fresults show the presence of diaspores. Main and trace element contents point out both karstic lateritic and ferrous lateritic bauxite formation. Pb isotope composition ratios and other findings indicate that the solutions effective in bauxite formation vary in their chemical contents due to their circulation at different depths. As a result, it is thought that the bauxite occurrences are associated with Triassic quartz meta- limestones and Jura platform type limestones in the study area, and the different chemical composition waters were considered to accelerate to the chemical weathering process, and depending on the regional climate conditions.
