Abstract (EN)

Today's increasing energy needs and costs have made the radial fan efficiency calculation and efficiency demand very important. Considering the usage areas and prevalence of radial fans, the economic aspect of the return of the slightest increase in efficiency is quite high. In order to prevent inefficient products, to prevent unnecessary energy consumption and to reduce energy costs, energy labels have been created by international platforms and products have been requested to meet certain energy standards. In this study, the fluid dynamic efficiency is 12.3 in smaller sizes with an air outlet diameter of 120 mm, which can be equivalent to a radial fan with an air outlet diameter of 150 mm, with a fluid dynamic efficiency of 9.3 and a maximum air flow rate of 400 m³/h. and a radial fan design with a maximum air flow rate of 390 m³/h was realized. With this design, a more efficient radial fan that does the same job has been designed. Due to its very small size, the production cost has also been reduced.
