Abstract (EN)

In recent years, especially the belonging of Kirkuk area has been a point of contention between the autonomous Kurdistan government established in the north of Iraq and the centralIraqi government. Political attitudes and tendencies that have come along over a certain geographical area where geopolitics is concentrated, land territory, cultural and social issues have been tried to be followed up in these documents related to Kirkuk. It has been deduced that the Kirkuk region has its own geopolitical values and qualities. The contents of the documents are more extensive. Information on the position of Kirkuk has been filtered out of them. However, in order to benefit from a wider range of documents, transcripts, new Turkish abstracts and evaluations were made alongside the original text. And so, the shadow in Iraq's history and some of the remaining points in the dark will help to keep the light alive.
