Abstract (EN)
Dede Korkut Stories is a deed engraved on the cultural memory of Turkish society and is one of the most important works of Turkish language. Historical, literary, theological, economical, geographical, cultural and many other factors that we have in it increase the value of this work. All the cultural phenomena in which the Oguz people have experienced their daily life, the geographical influence they have experienced, have taken on an important role as a bridge between these centuries. Today, a great majority of the scientific activities on Turkish language and literature are based on these stories, and the elements in these stories have been combined with different disciplines. There have been many studies on Dede Korkut Stories until now; but the vast majority of them are either propositional and semantic concepts, which are either grammatical, historical-etymological or micro-level, and offerings of reading and interpretation on them. In the linguistic methods in the Dede Korkut Stories, the number of scientific activities that we have studied with the linguistic methods we call word frequency and vocabulary are very few. The works taken in this direction were rarely made in other Turkic republics, especially in Azerbaijan. The main aim of this study is to gain a working system and time economy which will be done later on the stories by referring to the studies made up to now with the aim of collecting all the words in Dede Korkut Stories on a systematic basis; all the evaluations on the words are gathered under one roof.
