Abstract (EN)
Children's literature products are a universal resource in the education process. The aim of this research is to examine the illustrated children's books written by Leo Lionni in terms of values education. The research was conducted on picture books written by Leo Lionni. Qualitative research method was used in the research. Descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data obtained in the research. When the findings obtained from the research were examined, it was determined that the value most mentioned in the books was the value of love. The values of love are being open-minded, cooperation, sensitivity, sharing, friendship, respect, diligence, kindness, solidarity, giving importance to family unity, courage, gratitude, loyalty, patience, not being selfish, mercy, moderation, giving importance to independence. , courage, cleanliness, good intentions, sacrifice, contentment, tolerance, modesty, hospitality, simplicity, giving importance to being healthy and being responsible were followed by the values.
