Abstract (EN)

-42- SUMMARY Studies on the immunization potence and pathogenity of the different strains of Bordetella pertussis At the first step of this study, the phase determination of the different B. pertussis strains has been carried out in term of their agglutinogent, 2 and 3 contents by using the slide agglutination method. i Agglutinin and anti-FHA titration values of the guinea-pig sera, immunized as different groups by the whole-cell pertussis vaccines produced from each strain have been determined by using microagglutination and IHA-neutralization methods respectively. It has been recorded the highest titer of agglutinin and anti-FHA on the highest titer of agglutinin and anti-FHA on the guinea-pig sera for which immunized with the whole cell pertusis vaccine, Saadet strain. In addition, it has been studied the production, protein and LPF-FHA synthesis of each strain in the liquid medium. It has been concluded that the Saadet strain has shown high in synthesizing of LPF-FHA and in multiplication.
