Fish(initial 20.62±1.19 g mean body weight and mean total length 10.33 ±0.20 cm) wasfed with feed containing vitamin E during sixty days.At the end of experiment, the highest body weight and total length wereobtained from Group 1 (respectively, 36.91±0.81 g; 13.36±0.12 cm) (P<0.05). Thehighest daily growth rate (0.27±0.07) and specific growth rate (0.96±0.02) wereobserved in Group 1, whereas the highest condition factor were observed in ControlGroup (P<0.05). At the end, the highest hepatosomatic index was obtained fromControl Group (2.07±0.11), while the highest gonadosomatic index was taken fromGroup 1 (5.96±0.77).In histological point of view, there were no structural changes in kidney, heartor gill tissues in the groups, whereas increase in lipid droplets in the liver cells ofControl Group related to vitamin E, which was not observed in the other groups. Itwas also observed that as vitamin E levels increased, growth stages of the ovarianand testis tissues accelerated. From the results, it was concluded that the most properratio of vitamin E in the feed for growth of O. niloticus is 250 mg vitamin E /kg feed.Key Words: Vitamin E, Oreochromis niloticus, Growth Parameters, Histologies ofTissues.II
