SUMMARY The aim of this work to compare plazma blood lactate level obtained non-invasively, in training directions in anaerobic loadings. Total.blood or plasma lactate values are used in training directions. Blood lactate measurements may cause psychological difficulties. 14 male student from Sports High School of Faculty of training. SDL) University, were used as subjects in our study (age 22.07 ± 1.97). Wingate and 400 m. run tests were applied to subjects in 48 hours intervals. Blood and saliva samples were taken from all of the applied to subjects before loading and at exactly 5the and 15 the minutes after loading. Lactate levels were determined in saliva and plasma by enzimatic method using lactate PAP (milchsaure ) kits. İn our stady, the results in plasma and saliva lactate after 400 m. run, were as follows; in basal (29.55 ± 6.77,1.33 ± 0.74 mg/dl, r= 0.35, p>0.05), at 5th minute (116.91l15.49, 4.25±3.90 mg/dl, r=0.01, p>0.05), at 15 th, minute (106.2±21.19, 7.91 ±4.60 mg/dl, r=0.14, p>0.05). There seemed to be no significant correlation amongst the measurements. In Wingate protocol, the relation between plasma and saliva of basal (26.56±5.32, 0.88±0.67 mg/dl, r=0.398, p>0.05) as well the relation between plasma and saliva lactate of 15th minute (91.79±20.38, 3.91 ±3.01 mg/dl, r=0.466, p>0.05 ) was not significant. However, the relation between plasma and saliva lactate of 5th minute (112.33±20.32, 1.97±1.51 mg/dl, r=0.528, p<0.05) was found to be significant. Gn the other hand, in both protocol, no significant relation was found between plasma and saliva peaks (400 m r=0.109, Wingate r=0.359 ).it is concluded, at the end of this study, that saliva lactate is not as significant a parameter in training directions as blood lactate. As there are conflicting views in literature, more research is needed on this subject. Key Words: Wingate, plasma blood lactate, saliva lactate, anaerobic loading. \\
