Özet (EN)

The aviation sector is constantly developing. In recent years, there have been continuous advances, new ideas and projects in this field in our country. Recently, great breakthroughs have been made especially in the design and production of unmanned aerial vehicles. Within the scope of this thesis, fixed wing aircraft with morphing geometry structure found in the literature are analyzed. The usage areas, advantages and disadvantages of these air vehicles are discussed. In line with the information obtained, the focus is on dihedral angle variation and in this context, the advantages and disadvantages of dihedral angle variation are mentioned. A mini unmanned aerial vehicle with fixed wings was designed, and during the design phase, the airplanes of the competitors who participated in the Design-Build-Fly competition organized in the USA in recent years were used to profile the competing airplanes. In the light of the data obtained as a result of this study, the design of the aircraft was completed by following the aircraft design stages in order. A basic and low-cost variable dihedral mechanism is proposed for a Mini fixed wing unmanned aerial vehicle. The design of the mechanism was realized using Solidworks program and the integration of the proposed mechanism was demonstrated on the designed aircraft.
