Özet (EN)
In this study, Al6061 material drilling performance has been investigated in dry cutting conditions. Cutting speed, feed rate and cutting tool were determinated for input parameters. Cutting forces and temperatures values were analysed for output parameters. Experiments were performed in three step. In the first degree, in the first step, the experimental equipment wereprepared according to the Taguchi L18 ( 2*1-3*2) ortogonal index. In the second step, drilling tests were carried out using three different cutting speeds (170-200-230 m/min) and three different feed rates (0,1-0,2-0,3 mm/rev) with uncoated and coated (TiN/TiAl/TiCN) cutting tools. Cutting forces and temperatures were measured in synchronous with Kistler 9257 B dynamometer and K-type thermocouple. After the measure, ments average cutting forces and maximum temperature values have acquired. In the third step, new models have been developed by optimization with Taguchi, regression and ANN models. The most appropriate cutting parameters were found with the help of Taguchi Method. First and second degree degree regression equationfor cutting force and temperature were modelled with statistical methods. The effectiveness of the factors in the model was determined by ANOVA. ANN models were developed to optimize the selection of cutting parameters in the model. The best results were obtained with ANN modelfrom the comparison of estimated values.
