Abstract (EN)

Key words: Heavy Metals, Cyprinus Carpio, Dam Lake, SedimentIn this study, some samples which was taken from water, fish and sediment from thefour stations that was determined in the dams of Demirköprü and Avşar which located in theAegean Region, Cyprinus carpio has been taken and the data of some heavy metals such asCd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Ni, Pb has been researched.According to analysis; in the water samples Cd 0,00008 - 0,00102 ppm ;Cr 0,00476 -0,00642 ppm; Cu 0,01 - 0,0157 ppm ; Fe 0,26206 - 0,97317 ppm; Ni 0,00448 - 0,0155 ppm ;Pb 0,00523 - 0,0195 ppm; in the sediment samples; Cd 0,70- 0,82 ppm; Cr 3,58- 14,48 ppm ;Cu 9,3- 29,29 ppm; Fe 12631- 25268 ppm; Ni 7,41- 29,99 ppm ; Pb 2,44- 6,5 ppm ; in thesamples of C. carpio; Cd , in the muscle 0,17- 0,44 ppm; in the gill 0,15- 0,57 ppm; in thestomach-intestine 0,15- 0,43; in the gas bladder 0,71- 0,72 ppm; in the heart 0,49- 0,74 ppm; inthe liver 0,40- 0,96 ppm ; Cr, in the muscle1,18- 2,84 ppm; in the gill 1,25- 1,61 ppm; in thestomach-intestine 0,62- 1,77; in the gas bladder 0,42- 0,94 ppm; in the heart 0,27- 1,07 ppm; inthe liver 0,83- 1,26 ppm; Cu, in the muscle 3,55- 3,85 ppm; in the gill 3,83- 3,94 ppm; in thestomach-intestine 3,03- 5,80; in the gas bladder 3,49-8,88 ppm; in the heart 2,52- 12,00 ppm; inthe liver 4,02- 9,73ppm; Fe, in the muscle 16,55-34,96 ppm; in the gill 54,77- 203,7 ppm; in thestomach-intestine 64,06- 396,9; in the gas bladder 30,82- 71,3 ppm; in the heart 85,63- 118,05ppm; in the liver 27,48- 94,27 ppm; Ni, in the muscle 1,27- 3,16 ppm; in the gill 3,52- 3,91 ppm;in the stomach-intestine 0,69- 3,23; in the gas bladder 1,05- 1,42 ppm; in the heart 2,96- 3,99ppm; in the liver 4,02- 7,00 ppm; Pb, in the muscle 1,58- 2,14 ppm; in the gill 1,67- 3,11 ppm; inthe stomach-intestine 2,49- 3,61; in the gas bladder 1,00- 5,81 ppm; in the heart 1,62- 2,53ppm; in the liver 3,29- 3,42 ppm (wet weight) have been found.According to analysis results, in water the heavy metal levels increased in the order; Fe> Pb > Cu > Ni > Cr > Cd , in sediment; Fe > Ni > Cu > Cr > Pb > Cd, the C. carpio samples ofDemirköprü dam lake, in the muscle Fe > Cu > Ni > Cr > Pb > Cd ; in the gill Fe > Ni > Cu >Pb > Cr > Cd ; in the stomach-intestine Fe > Cu > Pb > Ni > Cr >Cd; in the gas bladder Fe >Pb > Cu > Ni > Cr >Cd ; in the heart Fe > Ni > Pb > Cu > Cr >Cd; in the liver Fe > Cu > Ni >Pb > Cr > Cd , the C. carpio samples of Avşar dam lake, in the muscle Fe > Cu > Pb > Ni >Cr > Cd ; in the gill Fe > Cu > Ni > Pb >Cr > Cd ; in the stomach-intestine Fe > Cu > Pb >Ni > Cr >Cd; in the gas bladder Fe > Cu > Ni > Pb >Cd >Cr ; in the heart Fe > Cu > Ni > Pb> Cd > Cr ; in the liver Fe > Cu > Ni > Pb > Cd > Cr .These obtained values were compared to the other tolerable values provided by theinternational institutions and thus it has been determined that the surfaces of the build up metalswerw harmlees and low.XI
