Accidents in the railway sector not only cause great damage, but also lead to a decrease in confidence in railway transportation. When the root causes of accidents in the railway sector are examined, it is seen that most of them are caused by human factors. It is seen that most of the accidents caused by the human factor are caused by non-compliance with the rules. The safety culture measurement tool, which will enable the quantitative measurement of safety attitudes of employees in railway transportation, which is seen as the transportation mode of the future, can be used as an effective tool for organizations to create a safety culture. Railway companies that can create a positive safety culture in their organizations will have taken the most important step towards the prevention of railway accidents. SPSS program was used in the analysis of the data obtained in the study. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) was performed to determine the number of dimensions of the created scale. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was applied to the measurement tool created after EFA using the AMOS program. Thus, it is possible to say that the construct validity of the five-factor measurement tool developed to measure the perception of safety culture in train drivers has been confirmed.
