Democratic Party Period of changing political and social structure of Turkey (1950-1960)

This study from May 1950 until May 1960 when the country holds management experienced in Turkey during the Democratic Party political power, social events, featured debates, issues and approaches were examined. This study consists of introduction, four chapters and conclusions. In terms of the integrity of the events, the subjects and events in the chapters are given in a chronological order and the first part includes the concepts of political parties and intra-party democracy. First to arrive DP power, political in Turkey, the actions of social life affect DP, internal security issues, has tried to put forward period. The political, social activities and events experienced during the DP period were examined. The effect of power-opposition relations on the occurrence of these events is explained. Political movements, labor movements and student events are explained. At the same time, the types of crime that occurred during this period, the measures taken by the DP governments on these issues and regulations were tried to be put forward.
