The Era of Democrat Party in Bayburt (1950-1960)

Celal Bayar, Adnan Menderes, established on January 7, 1946 by Fuat Koprulu and Refik Koraltan along with the Democratic Party to participate in the July 21, 1946 elections, the first multiparty life has been passed in Turkey. Winning the 1950 general election with an overwhelming vote difference between the Democratic Party in the history of the Republic of Turkey ten years (1950-1960) was the architect of a new era that will last. Turkey in every sense during this period in the province of Bayburt, Gumushane district changed the rotation; The current political structure, the established parties and the activities of these parties, elections, political participation of the people, administrative and social structure, education and economy will be tried to be revealed by using a wide perspective and scientific research methods. In reviewing the literature about the Democratic Party Period in Turkey it has been seen in many studies. However, when Bayburt is examined during the Democratic Party Period, there is almost no work done. An important gap has been filled with this study to be carried out, and will form the basis for future researches regarding this period. It is planned that the archive material required for this study will be scanned and completed in about a year by using scientific research, methods and techniques in historiography.
