The effect of democratic and autoritarian mother and father attitude to the moral judgment ability of the students who attend high school

In this research is investigated about high school student? s moral judgment abilities and whether there is a relationship or not between students moral judgment abilities and democratic and autoritarian mother and father attitude.The participants study comprise 377 students; 194 girls and 183 boys who are attending Istanbul Atatürk Science High School, Kadıköy Prof. Faik Somer Anatolian High School and Kadıköy Prof. Faik Somer High School in Kadıköy and Hadji Ismail Gündoğdu Trade Occupation High School in Kartal.The data of the study is got used Moralischer Urteil- Test for the measure moral judgment ability, Mother and Father Attitude Scale for the measure parent attitude and Personel Information Poll for the measure variables of student? s gender, kind of high school, mother? s education level, father? s education level and the economic level.As a result of the research, it is not found any difference statically between the students who have democratic and autoritarian mother? s attitude and moral judgment abilities. At the same time it is not found any difference statically between the students who have democratic and autoritarian father? s attitude and moral judgment abilities. And the other finding that; moral judgment abilility is not changed acording the variable of the students? gender and the economic level. Also when study relationship between moral jugdment abilities and kind of high school it is noticed that, moral judgment abilities score of the student who attend science high school, anatolian high school and general high school is higher than moral judgment ability of the students who attend occupation high school.Acording the result, it is found meaningful difference between student?s moral judgment ability and mother? s education level. The moral judgment ability score of students who mothers? graduated from university and high school is found higher than the moral judgment abilitiy score of student?s who mothers? graduate from primary school. But; the moral judgment ability score of students who mothers? haven? t literacy and graduated junior high schhol is not indicate any difference from the other education level. And moral judgment abilitiy score of the students is not indicate any meaningful difference according the fathers? education level. But at the and of the doing comperative within groups; moral ability judgment score of the students who fathers? graduated university is found higher than moral judgment ability score of students who fathers? being graduate from the other education level.
