Abstract (EN)

In this study, the methodological similarities between the artworks produced with the Processing Programming language and the Experimental Printmaking artworks were examined. It will be tried to show that it is possible to create these distinctive methods and features, which are sought to define a work of art as printmaking, with the Processing Programming language, by making conceptual examinations about the distinctive features of maxtrix production and transfer methods. In the first part, the development of the printmaking discipline in history and its approach and changing understanding of matrix production and transfer methods during this development will be analyzed. By examining the change of this approach and understanding and the limits it has reached, it will be tried to show the convenience of the printmaking discipline and its elements, both technically and theoretically, to experimental methods. In the second part, generative art and Processing Programming language, which is one of the production tools it covers, is examined as an artistic production element, and it is aimed to reveal the similarities between this production element and contemporary approaches to the production elements of experimental printmaking. Based on these similarities, in the third chapter, the similarities between the methods in which the Processing programming language is used as a tool and the principles of printmaking work production, and the overlaps between the production elements of the works are tried to be shown.
