Özet (EN)

As an experimental group, 20 athletes of military pentathlon and as a control group, students doing sports regularly and responsible for throwing branch, one of the exam subjects of the curriculum of the physical education lesson were examined in this study. The average age of the experimental group is 22, 50 ± 3, 81; and the average of the control group is 20, 10 ± 1, 71. In addition to weekly training schedule, balance training lasting for 8 weeks 3 days a week and throwing hits training twice a week were applied to the experimental group. But the control group had only throwing training twice a week.Using the bioelectrical impedance method, body weight, body-mass index and body fat index percentages were recorded before starting the study with the groups. Additionally, subjects? right-left handgrip, waist strength, leg strength, the scores and the analysis of the hits on the throwing pits located 20-25 meters away were subjected to test by using Biodex balance system SD and Dynamic Balance Measurement and Tests.Statistical Analysis of all data were made by using the SPSS 16, windows based statistical packaged software. Mann Whitney U Test are used to ascertain if there are significant differences of data of two groups and similar distributions in the system by taking into consideration the significant factor and Wilcoxon signed rank test are used to test the significance of the difference of points between two measurement sets associated with each other. With the help of the statistical analysis, right handgrip strength, waist and leg strengths, and the points of the hits to 20-25 meters are at the level of (p<0,01), and was realized a significant difference on the values of two legs dynamic balance OSI.By Wilcoxon signed rank test, Among the measurements of right handgrip strenght, left handgrip strenght, waist and leg strengths, both legs, dominant and nondominant leg and 20-25 meters hit points and OSI balance values, it was found a significant difference at the level of (p<0,01)When it is evaluated the development percentages gained at the end of the study in the experimental and control groups, it is ascertained that both legs dynamic balance degree development in the experimental group is % 38,08; in the control group is % 7,50; nondominant leg dynamic balance degree development is % 42,99; in the control group is %7,61; dominant leg dynamic balance degree development is % 41,07; in the control group is % 10,26; hit shot position dynamic balance degree development in the experimental group is % 34,04; in the control group is % 12,10; 20 meters target hit degree development in the experimental group is % 38,77; in the control group is 29,82; 25 meters target hit degree development in the experimental group is % 32,40; in the control group is % 13.25.At the end of the study, it is ascertained that balance training among the military pentathletes makes a significant contribution on balance competence throwing hit scores and especially on stable and systematical distribution among the throwers.
