Abstract (EN)

This study gives information about the techniques which can be used to evaluate the performance of the foundations which struggle to survive under the condition of competition. The main focus of the study is Balance Scorecard?s - one of the current evaluation methods- conceptual framework, the process of practice and progress and its critique. The problems that may occur in the foundations because of the implementation of Balance Scorecard method are analyzed and necessary suggestions are provided.The study is completed with an interview which is conducted with a foundation which applies Balance Scorecard method. In this way, the necessary information about the reason of using Balance Scorecard method, how the foundation get ready for the process of implementation, how the process continues, the problems which occur in the process of and after the implementation and the restrictions of the method is gained.At the end of the interview the problems occurred in the process of this method are mentioned. Balance Scorecard method needs to be updates regularly. There isn?t an appropriate period of time for this. The method should be updated in accordance with the aims and the conditions of the market. This method causes problems in implementation and check point in foundations which have many employers. There isn?t any software for this method. Because of communication gap there is an inadequacy in feedbacks.
