Abstract (EN)
This Research was planned and carried out in order to reveal the satisfaction level of the primary teachers who taught in primary schools and branch teachers who taught in the secondary schools in the city center of Denizli. The schools in Denizli city center were goupped into 3 by using the technique of Proportional Categorized Illustration and 494 teachers who taught in these schools were included into the illustration. For this research survey forms were used to collect data as the means. The survey form was consist of the demografic features releted to the teachers, the features related to working conditiouns, the features related to teaching as a profession and a short form of 20 questions of Minnesota Work Satisfaction Scale. The data which were got from the survey were analized through chı-square test and Fisher's Exact Test by using SPSS 15.0 packet software (for Windows). It was revealed that %52,8 of the teachers who paricipated in the survey were female, %56,8 were between the ages of 36-50, %54 worked at primary schools, %85,6 had children, %34 had been teaching for 14-22 years, %69,6 were appointed the school he/she had been working by his own desire, %73,2 would choose the same occupation if he/she had a chance to cheese.
