Grape pomace usage in ruminant nutrition produced in Denizli province and its mycotoxin presence investigation

Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to investigate the usage of grape pulp which is a waste in grape wine industry and molasses production in Denizli province in ruminant feeding and the presence of mycotoxin in it.A face-to-face survey was conducted with 30 producers living in the region in order to determine the use of grape pulps.For mycotoxin levels, 16 fresh samples of white wine pulps, 8 samples of red wine grape pulps from wine factory and 6 samples of grape pulps from local people which produces grape molasses were collected and analyzed.In addition, the same number of samples were taken from the same grape varieties, raw nutrient analyzes were carried out and, silos were collected in 1 liter cans and the dry matter contents and ph values of these silage samples were determined. As a result, it was found that ochratoxin residue was not found in the pulp obtained from the wine industry. But, it was observed as ochratoxin Asamples from the grape molasses producers.
