Abstract (EN)

NiTi shape memory alloys have a broad range of applications in biomedical fields because of special shape memory effect, superelasticity, good corrosion resistance, and, biocompatibility properties. A protective titanium oxide layer is separating the metallic alloy from its around in the oxidized NiTi alloy and by this way, biocompatibility is ensured. The Micro-arc oxidation (MAO) stands out as the most effective and appropriate method for biocompatible and antibacterial titanyum dioksit (TiO2) ceramic coatings. Silver which is one of these metals is known as disinfectants having low toxicity on living cells and years broad spectrum antibacterial effect. In this study, the TiO_2 ceramic coating and nano (20~30 nm) Ag supplemented TiO2 coating have been grown on shape memory, co atoms dental NiTi alloys with the MAO method. Corrosion resistance, the antibacterial sensitivity characteristic, release of Ni^+2, increase of biocompatibility and influence of shape memory effect of both coating was investigated. Finally, solid models of coating/substrate generated by ANSYS computer software. Mechanical properties such as Von Mises stress, total strain, creep strain values and contact pressure was investigated after loading. This study was conducted using the finite element stress analysis.
