Abstract (EN)

Acanthoscelides obtectus (Say.) (Bean Seed beetle, Coleoptera, Bruchidase), Callosobruchus maculatus (F.) (cowpea seed insect, Coleoptera: Bruchidae), Sitotroga cerealell (Oliver) (Corn moth, Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae) and Phthorimaea operculella (Zeller) (potato moth, Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae) are stored-product pests and they cause the loss of important products in our country and around the world. To present a variety of chemical methods have been tried against these pests. Because of the adverse effects on human and environmental health of these methods, many studies have been sarted on biological control methods in recent years. In this work, it is aimed that the determination of the bacterial flora of A. obtectus, C. maculatus, S. cerealell and P. operculella's and to use this findings as biological control agents. For this purpose, adults and larvae were examined from the products stored in the villages of Rize and their bacterial flora were identified to show the potential as microbial control against. It was isolated eleven bacteria from adults of A. obtectus (Say.), eleven bacteria from adults of C. callosobruchus (F.), ten bacteria from adults of S. cerealell (Oliver) and bacteria from adults of P. operculella (Zeller) and their identification were done by morphological, physiological and biochemical methods. Molecular characterizations were done by 16S rRNA sequence analysis.
