Abstract (EN)
In this work, the nonlinear analysis of reinforced concrete buildings was performed. a MATLAB based program called TWIZ Code was developed. The developed programe code was verified. Finit element method was used to develop the program. Two dimensional reinforced concrete structures were analysed using the developed program. Bending moments, shear forces, rotations and displacements of the structural members at the joints are determined through this program. XTRACT program was used to calculate the relationship of moment-curvature for RC beams and columns. The developed program was used to analyse four different real reinforced concrete buildings in chapter of numerical studies. The nonlinear structural analysis of two dimensional structures subjected to earthquake load are carried out. The plastic hinge formations and dispertions in structural members are shown, then the performances of structures are evaluated. Keywords: Plastic Hinge, Plastic Moment, Finite Element Method, Earthquake, Nonlinear analysis.
