Abstract (EN)
Earthquake regulation of Turkish (TDY2007) was published in 06/03/ 2007 in the official gazette was come into. In the regulation, considering structural is required to calculate three dimensional.Structural irregularities are assembled in two main groups. Irregularities in the plan include are torsional irregularity (A1), the irregularity related to floor in which there are big hole or abrupt reductions in the stiffness (A2), the irregularity related to large projections in the plan (A3), vertical irregularities are weak storey (B1), soft storey (B2), and the irregularities caused by the discontinuity of vertical structural elements (B3).In this study, Turkish Earthquake Code has been studied, and the effect of A2 irregularity and shear wall location in the earthquake analysis are examined. The equivalent earthquake load method offered by Turkish Earthquake Code is used to solve the structure by SAP2000 software.
