Abstract (EN)
Today, the increase in population in big cities and city centers, insufficient construction areas, increase in land values and building height restrictions on the ground have led to more efficient use of existing lands. In addition, the transportation problems in the regions where urbanization has become widespread forced the construction of underground structures. As a result of these situations, deep excavation works have gained importance in the construction sector. Deep excavations are difficult and complex projects involving many construction items and many variables. Deep excavations are designed and constructed by engineers specialized in geotechnical fields. During the leather excavation, the ground may show displacement movements. The displacements that will occur in the ground will cause danger during excavation work and damage to the structures around the excavation. For this reason, it is necessary to make a support system for deep excavations. Support systems for deep excavations have been developed in the field of geotechnical engineering, as in many other fields. Choosing a safe, economical and appropriate support system is very important for deep excavation. The selection, dimensioning and analysis of the elements of the shoring system can be done using the finite element method. The multi-storey design of a building planned to be built, the presence of many basement floors for a building required deep excavation, it was seen that a shoring system should be built to support the deep excavation and deep excavation work under the groundwater. In this study, the deep excavation work of the project was handled using the finite element method and the elements of the deep excavation shoring system were examined.
