Abstract (EN)

In this study, soil deformations due to the deep excavations with support and non-supports were analyzed for different clay and sandy soils. For the excavation support element system, steel sheet pile elements, steel sheet pile with strut elements and reinforced concrete wall elements are chosen. Plaxis 3D Foundation software that performs calculations according to the finite element method was used for model analysis. For each soil model, lateral deformations on excavation surface and vertical settlements on the back wall of the excavation were examined. Also, regression analysis was done, to find out an empirical relationship between horizontal deformation and excavation depth.At the end of the study; the effects of different excavation support systems for different soil types were presented by using various graphs. The results showed that reinforced concrete wall of support systems creates relatively steabil effect than steel sheet pile with struts and steel sheet pile elements.
