Abstract (EN)
Casting produced by ceramic moulding has a clean surface and used in casting components that are too large to cast by investment casting. In this research we investigate using of ceramic mould technology for producing decorated glass moulds. Ceramic molding can produce castings with fine detail, smooth surfaces and high degree of dimensional accuracy, and all these properties are the key factors for producing decorated glass moulds. Ceramic molding is intended for the production of castings of high quality, not only the terms of their dimensional accuracy and surface quality but also in terms of soundness and free from non metallic inclusions. The present research relates to methods for making ceramic molds to produce decorated glass mold metal castings. In this study, investigations are made on about binder compositions, binder gelling conditions, sintering time and temperature of ceramic molds and casting process for production of decorated glass mold.Keywords: Ceramic Mold, Decorated Glass Mold, Shaw, Stailness Steel Casting
