Design and construction of a data acquisition system for sensors used in automotive industries over GPRS

Construction machines are used in civil area, stone and marble sector, road works and forest studies. Especially construction machines are used outside of urban areas the following are of great importance: Inspection of performance due to the media and recording the performance, tracking construction machines and finding failures, early operations on the failed construction machines, using the recorded data during development, making the leasing easy by protecting the construction machines against theft, controlling the hour meter of the construction machines for borrowingIn this thesis, the sensors are used to measure position, temperature, humidity, vibration, etc. in vehicles and it is important to record these data from the sensors. This study aims use of sensors in vehicle, such as GPS (Global Positioning System) and MEMS (Micro -Electro- Mechanical Systems) vibration sensor and the vehicle data are gathering a DAQ (Data Acquisition System) and these are sent to a centre with GPRS.
