Abstract (EN)
The Trauma Test Device, which is designed and manufactured, is an alternative to trauma measurement methods and a new method that can simulate trauma impacts is aimed. With The Trauma Test Device, the magnitude of the trauma force, the duration of impact of the force, the number of pulses can be adjusted and the impact ends can be inserted differently. In addition, the device can be effected with a trauma to the desired position. In The Trauma Test Device, the linear motion mechanism in the Z axis and the loadcell were used to measure the severity of the trauma. In addition to this, the interface of the software can be used to enter variable parameters and data can be saved. With the developed Trauma Test Device, one and more impulses were applied to the test with 4 different trauma tips, and the pulse traces were created in dough and extruded polystyrene samples at 50 g, 250 g and 500 g loads, and trauma depth measurements were made by stereo microscope. With the designed and manufactured Trauma Test Device, the pulses that will create traumas in living tissues can be simulated close to the reality and the tests can be performed with high reliability.
