Abstract (EN)

In this work the cleaning of wastewater containing LAS with activated carbon adsorption and activated carbon regeneration has been studied. The Las concentration in the water has been determined by the method of methylene blue. Wastewater containing different concentrations of LAS has been treated with different activated carbon amounts. After the adsorptions, the LAS concentration in the solution has been measured. Langmuir ve Freundlich isotherms linearized for monolayer adsorption has been drawn and the coefficients of these isotherms equations has been found. Thus the cleaning capacity of the activated carbon "qm", the coefficient of enthalpy "KA", "n" is related to the specialties of the substance which has to be greater than on for real adsorption and the coefficient "Kf" which is related with specialties of substance has been calculated. In the second step the activated carbon has been regenerated by using the %3 solution of H2O2. The adsorption process has been repeated by using regenerated activated carbon and linearized Langmuir ve Freundlich isotherms have been drawn. By comparing coefficients calculated with the helps of the graphic are drown with the coefficients calculated for clean activated carbon it has been shown that there is a decrease in the adsorption capacity of activated carbon after the regeneration and a change in the specialties of the substance has been observed.
